When Should the Unbeliever Seek God

Charles Stanley has said, "The only assurance we have in this life is Jesus Christ."

I just love this quote as well as Charles Stanley's sermons. In his weekly program on In Touch, Stanley teaches believers and unbelievers what life can be like by accepting Christ.

Stanley reminds us we should seek God. He adds this question. When should the unbeliever seek God? Reminding us what the Bible says in Isaiah 55:6, "Seek the LORD while he may be found; call on him while he is near."

When a person ignores the truths of God and continues to sin, their heart eventually becomes hardened.  They get to a point in their life when they don't even care.  For sin separates us from God. When you ask God for forgiveness, He quickly responds.

When a person asks Jesus to come into their heart, their name is written in the Lamb's Book of Life. They are FOREVER a child of God. This saving grace cannot be taken away.

If you have accepted Christ as your savior and looking to take the next steps, I recommend visiting Charles Stanley's In Touch Ministries website.

It is full of resources that can help you with Bible teaching and messages.

God is knocking at your door. Are you ready to respond?
