Frantic mornings lead to frantic days. But you may say, I don't have enough time in the mornings, I have to rush to get the kids to school or head to my job. Sure many people are in this same situation. Demands on our time, tasks that need to get done, and our day swiftly passes through our life.
Take a few extra minutes in the morning before jumping out of bed. Stretching those muscles, breathing in the morning, and say a small thankful prayer can produce a calming mood.
Try this the next time that alarm clocks beeps in your ear. Open your eyes. Take a deep breath. Stretch your legs and arms before jumping out of bed. Then say a thankful prayer that you have another day.
Ask God for His glory to be revealed as you go about your day. Ask Him to walk alongside you throughout your day.
Taking a few moments before you rush into frantic mode will slower your pace. Use those early minutes of the day to appreciate the life you have been given.
