Do you find a quiet spot in your home, kneel on a comfy pillow, light a candle? Do you have a dedicated area in your home where you go to meditate?

How do you meditate? Do you go to a place a worship in order to meditate?
Some use their homes while others go elsewhere for a quiet sanction.
Meditating by a pond, a lake, or in nature also creates the space for many.
It doesn't really matter where you meditate. Having a dedicated space you can call your own brings you peace. It settles the mind for the peaceful journey during your meditation practices.
Some think of meditation as a ritual while others consider it as simply as saying a prayer. Each person is unique in how they practice meditation. Find a place where you can be alone in your thoughts. Reach out to God in prayer and thoughtful introspective. If lighting a candle works for you, then do that. If setting up a special area in your home brings comfort, then do that.
All it takes is to get some quiet time alone with God and your thoughts. Find the time to meditate and allow God to communicate to your spirit.
When the world around you is spinning so fast, when life is becoming a daily hassle, those are subtle reminders. That is when the clock is ticking. The reminder that says, it's time to meditate, to pray, to get alone with God.
How do you meditate?
