Hold on to God's Faithfulness in the Midst of the Storms

Psalm 40:2-3 says, "He lifted me out of the slimy pit, out of the mud and mire; he set my feet on a rock and gave me a firm place to stand. He put a new song in my mouth, a song of praise to our God. Many will see and fear and put their trust in the Lord."

You know, when you've been taken out of the world's slimy pit and given a firm place to stand, you will experience such joy, and as a result you will praise what God has done.

When life gets hard and the storms are sweeping through, hold on to God's faithfulness.

For in Proverbs 10:25 we read, "When the storm has swept by, the wicked are gone, but the righteous stand firm forever." This is a promise of God's assurance. When you put your trust in Him, He will make your paths straight again.

Wait on the Lord during those storms in life. For one day, you will look back and see He was guarding you and guiding you, every step of the way.

Praise Him today. Know in faith, this season in time will bring you out to a better place. You may rejoice today knowing this too shall pass.
