Life is funny sometimes. We tend to take things for granted. Each day waking up with our plans in our pockets. We learn very quickly how we don't have anything within our control. Sudden changes in weather can hamper our outdoor plans. Traffic congestion can cause us to be late for our appointments. An unexpected crisis occurs, we are at the mercy of the unknown.

Unexpected Waves of change

Life's unpredictable moments like these cause us to question fate. Our circumstances are played out before our very eyes. We get frustrated when the train crossing takes too long. We are impatient waiting in the store checkout. Why are we so quick to let things get to us?

In moments like these perhaps we should look at another way. What if that traffic congestion was a way of protecting you from some unforeseen disaster? What if waiting a few minutes longer in line turns out to a blessing? Looking at these situations in a different light may encourage you to be a little more patient.

Learning patience under trial takes determination. Practicing patience in the face of adversity will grow your character.

Pray during those times when you need encouragement. Ask God to show you the wisdom and spark enlightenment onto your situation.

It may take some time but in the end you'll save a headache of grievances.
