Daily Inspiration - Oct 3

October brings Halloween, fall festivals, and changing leaves. A time of reflection, a time for settling down, October means the holidays are approaching. Life moves so fast.

“Give Jesus first place in your life. Don’t just let your life happen—choose what to do with it, or in the end you’ll wonder where it went. If you’re going to persevere as Christ’s follower, you must consciously choose not to squander your life or let it idle away, but to invest it in what matters.” – Randy Alcorn

Making each day matter makes the differences that matter. Life is an incredible journey, learning to enjoy the ride can lighten the load.

I found that the more I do the things I enjoy, the happier I become. The same is true for many people.

Take the time to do something you love to do. Even if that means one day a week for relaxation, it is important to give yourself a break from the worries and hassles of your day. It is healthy and makes you wise.

Enjoy the time you spend with family and friends. Also spend some time in solitude. Read a good book, watch a good movie, as long as you are taking a break from your worries, this time should be about pampering you.

Life moves quickly. Before long you'll be at the end of your journey and you'll wonder where it all went. Take the time today, to tell someone you love them. Give your family and friends a hug when you greet them.

Appreciate the little things in life and enjoy the journey. For here in this world we are just passing by.
