Daily Inspiration - Aug 28

I usually don't post on Sundays but this is a special occasion.

It was 48-years ago today, August 28, 1963. Dr. Martin Luther King delivered those famous words, “I have a dream.”

At the National Mall, visitors honor the Martin Luther King Jr. Memorial. Entry to the monument is under the ‘Mountain of Despair.’ There the ‘Stone of Hope’ is revealed. Martin Luther King’s statue is carved within the ‘Stone of Hope’.

Cherry blossoms fill the air around the memorial. Inspirational quotes adorn the 450-foot inscription wall memorializing the words of Dr. King. Visitors experience the memories of despair and hope. His dream is captured in the essence of this memorial.
