Daily Inspirational Thought - July 8

What do we do in our waiting times? Are we keeping busy or just settling into our resources?

It is important to let go of our past yet we still can long for our future. It is in those waiting times when we experience real growth.

Sometimes, we want to reach our goal sooner than later. We anxiously pursue our path along the road of righteousness so we can ultimately obtain our goal.

At times we attempt to push things along so we don't have to wait. We try to control circumstances and situations all in a vain attempt to meet our goal.

Waiting can be like times of disappointment and impatience. It can become a struggle in our lives.

Why should we wait? When we wait on God who already knows the outcome anyway, we receive the blessing He has prepared for us. By waiting for answers, we learn truth.

During the waiting, we build our character.  For in long-suffering, we learn endurance.

Choose to wait on God. He has the best laid plans. He knows best what you need.

Pray for patience and ask God to give you a humbling spirit as you wait.
