Thought for the day - June 10

It's Happy Friday and today's thought is about teaching. When we are young we learn the basics (how to read, write, and spell). As we grow older, we learn more of the fundamentals. (relationships, personal space, family).

We are finding our place in this world. Now move fast forward to today. What are you learning? Do you have someone you are teaching? Maybe you are learning a new language, or a new skill? Developing your talents is one way you learn.

There is another way you can apply yourself in life. You stretch beyond your comfort zone. Teaching requires discipline but you cannot teach what you have not already learned. So to teach is to learn.
Finding Love's Presence is Glory to Behold

We are all learning. Everyday, we learn something new. Our brains are processing things in nano-seconds. We understand darkness from light and we can identify with warm and cold.

All of these things we had to learn to understand them. In the same way, you learn about your faith by experiencing life. You learn what it's like to be a new person in Christ by understanding the compassion of the Father. In Christ, you learn about love.

Christ taught us what it means to love. To love unconditionally without no end. So this leaves with a thought. What are you learning today? Take that a step further what will that teach you? Are you making progress in your faith, are you really stretching your faith?

Do you have a teachable spirit?
