The Bible says all things work out according to His purpose. When you are facing trials in life, it is difficult to see the positive influences in your life. When you have gone through a tragedy, it is more than challenging to see anything good coming out of it.
Faith is a journey. It takes years to grow your faith. Life's challenges and experiences will test you. If you are facing a loss or tragedy today, trust God to walk with you.
One of the greatest teachers are the hard lessons in life. Trying to figure everything out doesn't make it go away. When you don't understand why, trust in God's plan. Walk with Him. Hold on to the robe of Jesus, as the bleeding woman in the Bible did. She knew if she could just reach out and touch his cloth, she would be healed.
"And a woman was there who had been subject to bleeding for twelve years. She had suffered a great deal under the care of many doctors and had spent all she had, yet instead of getting better she grew worse. When she heard about Jesus, she came up behind him in the crowd and touched his cloak, because she thought, “If I just touch his clothes, I will be healed.”Immediately her bleeding stopped and she felt in her body that she was freed from her suffering." - Mark 5:25-29
Trust in God's word. Be open to His teaching. Ask God to give you strength to endure the challenges you are facing.
God will lift you out of the dark pit of sadness and mourning. He will carry you as the poem, "Footsteps" reminds us.
"The time when you seen only when one set of footsteps, that is when I carried you," said the Lord."
