Celebrate Resurrection Sunday: He is Risen

“The angel said to the women, “Do not be afraid, for I know that you are looking for Jesus, who was crucified. He is not here; he has risen, just as he said."  (Matthew 28:5-6)

Today we celebrate Resurrection Sunday, the day Christ followers praise and worship the risen Savior as we eagerly await for His return.

For He is Risen. Jesus overcame death!

We hold on to the promise of hope of life everlasting and we acknowledge Jesus for who He is; the Living Son of God.

Scripture teaches in Psalm 73:26, "My flesh and my heart may fail, but God is the strength of my heart and my portion forever." 

When we read and believe God's promises, they settle into places deep inside our hearts that can never separate us from God's unconditional love. 

We can hold onto His promise and look forward to the rewards that await us.

“For our light and momentary troubles are achieving for us an eternal glory that far outweighs them all.”(2 Corinthians 4:17)
